there is no interface to do this – you could modify the WP OSM Plugin, this will lead to problems if there are updates and in addition you get a lot you do not need.

If you familiar with coding its for sure easier to simply take just what you need from one of these libraries. It will take a bit longer to start but you will be able to make it perfect for your needs.

Hello Paul,
the WP OSM Plugin does nothing to your image files!

The message “OSM plugin added: GPX/KML” just tells you that the OSM plugin added this file types to your site as valid types – but sometimes other mechanism (eg .htaccess) can also block this types.

Anyway – OSM plugin does not influence your uploaded images.
